Regardless, the download itself (when downloaded from the printer diagnostics website) should work. I have no way to test this - I am not any longer running Windows 7 on any of our machines.

The version of Windows you are running may influence which version of the Doctor package downloads, though I am not aware that Windows 7 uses a different Doctor program than the one used in Windows 10. Save the installation file to your computer > Double-Click on the file to extract and run the program. I tested (downloaded the most recent version of the Doctor) on and the version in the downloaded package (at this writing) is 5.0.4 (and not 5.2.x).Īnswer "yes" to the question about whether your printer is having issues to invoke the download action.
